I made this ages ago! You know you can like make stories with the sims and upload them onto the sims2 website well some one was asking for someone to put a sim on a horse for part of her story so i made one just for fun: before: after: what do you think?

I used the magic wand tool, it's shaped like a magic wand and when you click somewhere it usually selects everything else that is that colour.

Sometimes that's not very effective, though, if some of what you want to keep is in shadow or something, against a similar background. A lot of programs don't have an extract tool, so with those, I usually just erase around what I want to keep, then zoom in and use a fuzzy brush with the eraser tool to go around it.
